The "Frogman" is one of our two signature baits that is a favorite of fish in the freshwater arena regardless of geographical location. Additionally, this bait triggers explosive strikes in the snook infested mangroves. Bursts of water stream from the top port while bubbles pop forward and through the gill plates. If that is not enough well balanced internal rattles seal the deal. My goal is to represent a frog pattern however the belly is intentionally painted to represent the juvenile bluegill / bream commonly found as bass forage as well.
Each Frogman is unique and hand painted with seven layers to accomplish its complexity. This bait is not available in timber as the features are too complex.
